  • Long time listener

I have been listening since the start, but your latest podcast imagery of punch the monkey has genuinely made me so sad and somewhat sick. It’s reminded me of the little redhead Palestinian boy who asks why no one talks about him, and you know what, you never have. I just hope when history talks about it, you don’t pretend you cared when you gave it no coverage at all.

  • We get it

I feel like Laura makes mention of breastfeeding in every.single.episode as of late, I get that she is proud and rightly so, it’s amazing and it is her flex. However it is somewhat triggering to hear in every ep as someone who is freshly postpartum and unable to breastfeed.

  • Brittany Hockley

    Australia’s biggest ‘pick me’ girl.

You are so vapid, boring, unoriginal, and your constant need for attention is so cringe. Being linked to Laura is the only reason you haven’t faded into obscurity. She is MILES beyond you intellectually, emotionally - and has a genuine interest when speaking to people and on all topics. You just hold your breath for any chance to talk about yourself. You add nothing. You are nothing but a social climber who stands for nothing.

Firstly: where’s the acknowledgment of country gone? Hope it’s just a blip in publishing

After listening to today’s ep, please please do some due dilliegnce. It’s WUthering, not WIthering, and it’s in the 19th century not 18th. It’s 1800s. Doesn’t matter if you don’t care about it, you have a platform- get basic stuff right. Google it

I have always been a listener but since my baby was born 6 months ago I have now started watching on YouTube and I’m loving it. Contact naps on the sofa with your podcast on the TV = perfect combo. Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Ask Uncut - My Exes Were Hotter
Q: Question number four. A friend's parenting style involves swearing around her toddler; I'm uncomfortable and worried about the kids.
The hosts argue for respectful boundaries with friends who are parents, suggest addressing the issue calmly, and emphasize that long-term friendships may shift as parenting styles diverge, but prioritizing the child's well-being is key.
Ask Uncut - My Exes Were Hotter
Q: Question number three. Help, am I overthinking this? My sister's wedding, a groomsman from the wedding reached out; I worry about drama if we date.
They advise considering your own happiness and boundaries over fear of family dynamics, highlight the potential for awkwardness, and recommend being thoughtful but not letting fear derail possible genuine connection.
Ask Uncut - My Exes Were Hotter
Q: Question number two. I've been seeing a guy for eight months and it has been the most amazing time... He said he felt something off and then backtracked on breaking up two days later; he told me I wasn't as attractive as his past partners.
They discuss how such comments can undermine self-confidence, stress the importance of not rearranging one's life around someone who casually breaks up, and recommend evaluating whether the relationship aligns with long-term needs.
Ask Uncut - My Exes Were Hotter
Q: Question number one. I'm 36 years old and I met a guy on an intercontinental flight a month ago. It was weird because even before ending up talking, I felt completely relaxed around him and had the urge to rest my head on his shoulder.
The hosts suggest enjoying the connection but warn about practical hurdles like the age difference and long-distance logistics; they encourage embracing the experience while being clear about what you want and not rushing into a serious commitment.
Ask Uncut - Crying Coworkers, Feeling Inadequate and An Easter Hat Parade Debate
Q: Last question. My best friend behaved badly and was mad at me because I didn't side with her. What should I do?
Acknowledge the wrongdoing privately, hold them accountable for hurtful behavior, avoid public shaming, and consider maintaining the friendship with boundaries; emphasize that you can support them while not endorsing harmful actions, and discuss ownership of the incident and lessons learned.
