  • Energy shift since Brit left

Long time listener and have some genuine feedback -since Brit left it and they started recording remotely it seems as though there is an energy shift. The pod sounds less professional, and it sounds like Brit is trying to be quiet or something? There is a real difference in her energy vs Laura’s and it no longer feels like you’re just in the room with a group of friends. Appreciate that this might just be teething issues while they get settled but there’s a noticeable difference in the vibe of t... more

  • Brit please grow up

I’ve listened for years but lately Brit has become more and more insufferable. She always interrupts Laura and frequently offers up perspectives that favour the patriarchy. It’s giving pick me and honestly I’d expect more from a woman in her late 30s. Comparatively, Laura and Keisha offer safe, empathic and balanced perspectives. I’d love to listen to more of them moving forward.

  • Loving it!

I have absolutely been loving the pod lately. Britt and Laura have had different opinions and views on certain things recently and have both been respectful in listening and giving each other space to explain their point of view even though they still disagreed. I find that a lot of podcasts recently seem to be scraping the bottom of the barrel when it comes to content, I’m glad you guys aren’t using rage bait, outrage culture and divisive topics like the KIC pod girls are. I too, am glad you’ve... more

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Ask Uncut - My Exes Were Hotter
Q: Question number four. A friend's parenting style involves swearing around her toddler; I'm uncomfortable and worried about the kids.
The hosts argue for respectful boundaries with friends who are parents, suggest addressing the issue calmly, and emphasize that long-term friendships may shift as parenting styles diverge, but prioritizing the child's well-being is key.
Ask Uncut - My Exes Were Hotter
Q: Question number three. Help, am I overthinking this? My sister's wedding, a groomsman from the wedding reached out; I worry about drama if we date.
They advise considering your own happiness and boundaries over fear of family dynamics, highlight the potential for awkwardness, and recommend being thoughtful but not letting fear derail possible genuine connection.
Ask Uncut - My Exes Were Hotter
Q: Question number two. I've been seeing a guy for eight months and it has been the most amazing time... He said he felt something off and then backtracked on breaking up two days later; he told me I wasn't as attractive as his past partners.
They discuss how such comments can undermine self-confidence, stress the importance of not rearranging one's life around someone who casually breaks up, and recommend evaluating whether the relationship aligns with long-term needs.
Ask Uncut - My Exes Were Hotter
Q: Question number one. I'm 36 years old and I met a guy on an intercontinental flight a month ago. It was weird because even before ending up talking, I felt completely relaxed around him and had the urge to rest my head on his shoulder.
The hosts suggest enjoying the connection but warn about practical hurdles like the age difference and long-distance logistics; they encourage embracing the experience while being clear about what you want and not rushing into a serious commitment.
Ask Uncut - Crying Coworkers, Feeling Inadequate and An Easter Hat Parade Debate
Q: Last question. My best friend behaved badly and was mad at me because I didn't side with her. What should I do?
Acknowledge the wrongdoing privately, hold them accountable for hurtful behavior, avoid public shaming, and consider maintaining the friendship with boundaries; emphasize that you can support them while not endorsing harmful actions, and discuss ownership of the incident and lessons learned.
