I think it might just be a lack of interviewing skill training, but Steph the way you interrupt and comment throughout your interviewee’s answers comes across as irritating and disrespectful. It’s not about you and you don’t need to insert yourself into their responses - just listen and give them space to answer fully without the constant interjections, and then move on to the next considered question. Perhaps you want them to know you can relate and you feel you’re trying to encourage them, but... more

Maybe it’s time to reevaluate the target... more
I genuinely cannot listen to this podcast anymore. These women are so out of touch and Laura, you use any excuse to talk about how hard women have it compared to men. Please just stop. I have unfollowed some time ago and have very much outgrown this podcast.
I do like the pod but Steph constantly going “UMM”before every sentence is really annoying- I’m so sorry but otherwise it’s great

The little babies and children that have had their lives forever altered in the most horrific way are the ones who lose. As a woman, a mother and a survivor of CSA, I am absolutely horrified that you would use your chance to discuss something so important on your platform to cause further divide and hurt. The fact... more
