  • Great concept, poor execution

This show is so frustrating. It’s such an interesting concept but the execution is so painfully bad. Ruby has so much potential but she needs to work on her interviewing skills, it’s clear she’s just asking the pre-written questions and not actually having a conversation with the guests. People will be saying interesting things and there’s no probing, just onto the next basic question. The transition to the ads breaks is jarring and random. Having ads is not the issue but having them randomly st... more

  • Actively Listen to your Guests

Good concept but the host needs to be an active listener and far more non-scripted interviewer. Focus on listening more. Just listening to the Little Mix episode and Ruby asks a question which Jade just answered and so she literally had to repeat herself. It comes across so scripted when the host cannot flow with the guests responses.

  • Relax the structure

Ruby has a beautiful warmth and speaking voice, she’s very calm and considered. Just wish she would respond to what guests say more and not just read her pre-scripted questions. Loved Guy Montgomery’s ep and he shared some quite vulnerable things to then have no acknowledgement and straight on to the next question. Relaxing into more of a conversational style would help.
