  • Potential.. but not quite

There is potential here however the host is unable to truly respond to guests vulnerability with anything beyond surface level comments and questions. I think a more skilled and experienced interviewer would result in deeper and more fluid conversations.

  • Jarring, no link between questions

Love Ruby (so much!) but… what the heck is going on with the script and the flow of questions? The Matty J interview was diabolical, no segue between topics - literally went from Matt joking about keeping his daughter’s umbilical cords to miscarriage. Really clumsy scripting throughout. And there wasn’t even an intro at the start of this one? Not sure what’s going on with production but it feels sloppy, rushed and minimal effort.

Loved the ep with Scott and Marcus - would love an ep with a female/NB couple! Maybe G Flip and Chrishell 👀

'I called off my wedding 2 months out' with Sashi Perera
Q: Did you have a conversation with your dad about moving into comedy full time, and did he get to see you perform?
He did get to see me perform in small spaces before he passed, but he didn't get to see how big it became. He was supportive even if he didn't fully understand the path, which helped me lean into joy despite grief.
'I survived the volcanic eruption, but my dad and sister didn't' with Stephanie Browitt
Q: What was it like waking up after the coma and learning about what had happened to your family?
Waking up was overwhelming and confusing; I gradually learned the losses of Crystal and Paul and had to process the reality of my burns and the ongoing surgeries while being cared for by my mom and medical team.
Maisie Peters on what it's like to open for Taylor Swift
Q: Can you share a personal ritual or memory that grounds you amid touring and media attention?
Maisie talks about the band handshake ritual and the special 'girls' handshake' inspired by Kylie Minogue, plus how the ritual helps calm nerves before performances.
Maisie Peters on what it's like to open for Taylor Swift
Q: What was it like to open for Taylor Swift at the Errors Tour, and how did that moment shape you?
She describes it as a dream come true, the excitement of meeting Taylor, and how the experience influenced her confidence and perspective on her career, emphasizing the supportive role Taylor has played in her development.
Maisie Peters on what it's like to open for Taylor Swift
Q: Take me back to the start of your music career. How did you get noticed and sign your first deal?
Maisie explains that she posted original songs on YouTube, which led to her manager discovering her; after many writing sessions, she landed a publishing deal and later a record deal with Atlantic, with mentorship paths through Ed Sheeran's Gingerbread Man Records.
