I watched the Netflix show and found it boring as. It was David’s production company so it was very much their point of view. The issue is that her clothes are ok looking but not selling. If Posh wasn’t able to turn the business into annual profits, then why is this company being run? Because it’s a hobby and a passion. She was able to get to this point of running it at a loss be because she had some $ from her previous career and because she’s spun something from being married to Dave. It’s al... more
These hosts are smart, stylish and clearly successful in their own right, but I’ve stopped listening since the follow up to Ultra Violette’s exposure for misleading consumers. Clearly their loyalty is with their industry contacts, and if you can’t be meaningfully critical when it comes to sunscreen, ie. a health issue, I’m not going to expect they’ll be honest about more frivolous stuff. Was hoping for smart takes on style and business. You might like it if you’re in their group chat already!
The strengths of this podcast is when they talk about trends and what is happening in the Zeitgeist. All too often though it does feel like a group chat you’re not invited to. The guests are often friends of the hosts rather than being the right people for a good and informative listen. There are so many amazing women out there. We can widen the net.
I initially really enjoyed this podcast and the hosts (when consistent!) but the introduction of random wellbeing chat is zero interest to me. I have plenty of other podcast I go to for this type of content, and I come here purely for the beauty/fashion/brand chat. Please remove the “are you well?” Segments, I completely tune out and don’t understand how they fit into the structure of the episodes. I am keeping my fingers crossed for a shift!
I like the style content but I feel this podcast has become confused with content like the hosts views around children?
