I’m in my 50s and frequently feel overwhelmed by the weight and complexity of the problems we face as a country and as a society, and how powerful elites’ entrenched self-interest always se... more
Love the way you break down news even as an old person and not into celebrity gossip at least I have an idea now of who is doing what to whom. And the world is a crazy place and you are more balanced Jurnos than legacy media.

I love listening to this podcast. I love the blend of serious political chat amongst the pop culture.
I tried to listen to the Mitch Churi episode, but the way he comes straight on in and attacks call her daddy but then will be the first to say Australia has a tall poppy syndrome problem if roles were reversed.
However, I look forward to every episode!

This show blends political analysis with pop culture, offering a fast-paced mix of current events, media critique, and celebrity-driven conversations. Episodes routinely explore policy, elections, media framing, and the business of influence, while interweaving lighter culture topics, dating, and tech trends. The format often features two steady hosts who debate, unpack complex issues, and bring in guests with lived experience or subject-matter expertise, creating a dynamic, personality-driven approach to news and culture. Notable is the willingness to cross between hard politics and approachable pop culture, making heavy topics accessible without sacrificing depth. A key strength is the show's ability to connect policy signals to everyday ... more
