Love Story, the Disney+ series following the relationship between John F. Kennedy Jr and Carolyn Bessette Kennedy, has just wrapped up. Like many other Ryan Murphy shows, the series has drawn an almost-even mix of praise and condemn... more
DUMB STUFF FRIDAYS:
We need to talk about two awkies interviews on The Today Show from the past week. And then, seven cute little dogs were caught on video walking along a highway in China. Where did they come from? Where did they go? Etc. Etc. To c... more

been listening for years but Michelle in particular has become increasingly negative, rude, defensive and hostile and it’s become really difficult to even listen to. i’m not sure if she realises how she’s coming across but it’s extremely patronising and snobbish considering she flip flops her own opinions in episodes based on whatever is trendy around her. Obviously coming from her own place of insecurity and projection but it makes it hard for listeners to enjoy the show.
I used to love this show but in continuing to listen the hosts have no perspective and have no clear understanding of intersectionality. I think the hosts need to do some work and understanding on their microaggressions against women of colour. Initially believed (or probably hoped) Shameless was better than the rest of Australian media but I have learnt it is just more of the same.
Love this show but feel like the quality has declined as of late (slip ups and other fourth wall breaks being left in make the show feel messy). Also so many purposeless tangents…
Also dumb stuff Fridays are (dare I say) too dumb. I think great analysis of a stupid topic would work better, or maybe make it more internet-focused and take the internet content out of regular Thursday eps.
That being said, Monday episodes have been great
I’ve been a shamemore subscriber since it’s inception and unsubscribed today. Shameless has completely lost its way. The takedown of tamsin over on stylish and tone deaf attempt at an apology is just the latest in a series of poor quality takes across all channels. You are trying to become a media conglomerate and it’s so boring. Good content used to be important to you and it showed in the quality of your main podcast. We subscribed because the content was good, not to learn about the inner mac... more
I don’t listen to Monday and Friday episodes as they are just hard to listen to. Thursday episode’s are starting to be the same.
