  • Used to be better

Changing my review after listening to the show for years. As other reviewers mentioned, the quality here used to be better. But I think I’m done with it now. The precious metals coverage content was one of the main things I wanted to hear. After one of the largest moves in silver pricing ever, we got an extremely in-depth conversation of gold yet zero comments on the silver market over the past week? Come on.

  • Please do not invite clueless or partisan ppl

Listening Craig Tindale was a pain. His defense of freedom was pathetic considering that all the West did in the last centuries is what he is accusing China of. Just an example: why Iran can’t have nukes? Because they are dangerous? Have you forgotten Iraq, Venezuela, Greenland!!!!! The level of hypocrisy defending freedom and western values is appalling. And he is plain wrong about France and ww2. Please Macro Voices, choose better!!! I couldn’t finish this episode.

  • TDS is a mental illness acquired by choice..

A very successful businessman once told me; If you want to be successful in any business, leave the politics at home. Refuse to stake all campaign and political yard signs.. unless you WANT to scare off 50% of potential customers.

I tried listening to the pod, but I avoid tribalism like the plague. I’m sure you guys probably have some decent content, but I cannot take somebody seriously when their ideas come from the same brain that chooses a life of hate.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

MacroVoices #521 Jeff Currie: The Great Rotation
Q: How should investors position themselves in gold and other precious metals given this environment?
A core long exposure to gold with hedging via collars or options can dampen volatility while preserving upside, reflecting gold's role as a geopolitical reserve asset amid sanctions and de-dollarization.
MacroVoices #521 Jeff Currie: The Great Rotation
Q: Is there a risk of an 'oil glut' narrative, and how do you see the near-term price path?
He argues the oil glut narrative is unfounded for fundamentals, but near-term prices will be influenced by geopolitical risks and liquidity; inventories may be lower than apparent, while sentiment and liquidity can drive price moves.
MacroVoices #521 Jeff Currie: The Great Rotation
Q: What is driving the current commodity cycle and how does policy affect it?
Currie identifies three drivers—de-globalization, de-carbonization (electrification), and redistribution—plus the amplification from AI-driven demand, which together sustain a broad commodity supercycle beyond oil alone.
MacroVoices #519 Alex Gurevich: The Next Perfect Trade
Q: What do you see as the necessary investments in energy sources?
Gurevich implies that investments in nuclear energy and natural gas will be crucial, reflecting both supply needs and geopolitical competition.
MacroVoices #519 Alex Gurevich: The Next Perfect Trade
Q: What is your view on the future role of AI in military developments?
Gurevich agrees with the assessment that AI will lead to an arms race with significant implications for military strategies and budgets.
