  • Ridiculous tin hat conspiracy theories

guest on the show says it’s deep state that is continuing the Iran war. Everything that he said is wrong and turned out to be wrong. Shows the show is stupid and clueless

  • Used to be better

Changing my review after listening to the show for years. As other reviewers mentioned, the quality here used to be better. But I think I’m done with it now. The precious metals coverage content was one of the main things I wanted to hear. After one of the largest moves in silver pricing ever, we got an extremely in-depth conversation of gold yet zero comments on the silver market over the past week? Come on.

  • Please do not invite clueless or partisan ppl

Listening Craig Tindale was a pain. His defense of freedom was pathetic considering that all the West did in the last centuries is what he is accusing China of. Just an example: why Iran can’t have nukes? Because they are dangerous? Have you forgotten Iraq, Venezuela, Greenland!!!!! The level of hypocrisy defending freedom and western values is appalling. And he is plain wrong about France and ww2. Please Macro Voices, choose better!!! I couldn’t finish this episode.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

MacroVoices #525 Lyn Alden: Iran Contagion, Inflation & Private Credit
Q: What scenarios could derail or shape the oil and energy outlook in the near term?
Outlooks hinge on whether Strait of Hormuz disruptions persist, LNG supply, and broader energy infrastructure resilience. Sustained high energy prices could push inflation higher and influence monetary policy, while a resolution could restore some stability, depending on how energy flows and political alignments evolve.
MacroVoices #525 Lyn Alden: Iran Contagion, Inflation & Private Credit
Q: How might private credit interact with the broader banking system in this environment?
Private credit remains a risk, but the banking system's exposure is limited relative to the size of private credit markets; substantial losses would be required to meaningfully threaten banks, though elevated energy prices and inflationary pressures could exacerbate stress in private credit ecosystems.
MacroVoices #527 Adam Rozencwajg: What Comes Next After The Iran Crisis
Q: What is the outlook for inflation amid these events?
Inflation is likely to stay elevated, with potential for higher nominal growth and persistent risk premiums, unless energy prices deflate quickly and growth slows substantially.
MacroVoices #527 Adam Rozencwajg: What Comes Next After The Iran Crisis
Q: What would it mean for markets if there is a deal, versus if there isn't?
Markets would first react to the flow of oil and other commodities; a deal could unlock flow and ease immediate price pressures, but risk premiums and geopolitical uncertainty would linger regardless.
MacroVoices #527 Adam Rozencwajg: What Comes Next After The Iran Crisis
Q: Jim, is there a deal or is there not a deal?
There appears to be a deal in public statements, but the terms are disputed between the US and Iran, and details remain unresolved with potential misalignment on what was agreed.
