  • Ab wann endlich nur noch Werbung?

Schade, dass die lustige, trottelige Werbung alle 5 Minuten von den ernsten Finanzinhalten unterbrochen wird.

Love TM but listening on on this platform with ads every 15 minutes stinks!

  • Ed Zitron

Ed Zitron is either right or completely out of his mind as to the AI con job.

“I see it all perfectly; there are two possible situations — one can either do this or that. My honest opinion and my friendly advice is this: do it or do not do it — you will regret both.”

  • Bearish for years while the market ripped

I’ve listened to the podcast for years and 80% of the episodes lean bearish. Most of Adam’s network must be bearish as most of the titles of his episodes are negative frames like “This market is set for a BIG correction!” Go back and look at the episodes over the last three years — hardly a bull in sight. And that all happened during one of the greatest three year stock runs in history. Most of Adam’s questions are long-winded opinion statements disguised as questions. I find myself skipping... more

  • Zero information density

The latest melody wright episode contained her usual dozens of incomplete thoughts and vague trailing off sentences but no new info or insights that were not already common knowledge. Adam had all his usual verbal tics and the same exact questions and comments as every episode, having obviously done zero interview prep. Topping it off was the habitual slide into a 15 minute one sided political discourse that we get on almost every edition. Three stars because most episodes do contain 1-2 minutes... more

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

The Market Is Mispricing The Inevitable | Peter Tchir
Q: What trends right now have your attention the most?
The guest highlights the Fed's evolving data approach, deglobalization, geopolitical risk (Iran, China), AI-related capital expenditure, and the shift toward ProSec—production for security and national resilience—as central themes shaping policy and markets.
With Trust Breaking The World Over, Quality Collateral Is Now Key | Jonathan Wellum
Q: What is your macro view of the big drivers in markets right now?
Jonathan discusses six long-term 'Ds'—digitization (AI etc.), debt, de-globalization, demographics, dear valuations, and currency debasement—arguing that these trends justify owning quality, cash-generating businesses with strong balance sheets at reasonable valuations.
Will You Maximize Your Social Security Income? Or Choose Poorly? | Julia Lembcke
Q: Okay. And you've already sort of mentioned this a couple of times, but it sounds like just as a lot of children fail the marshmallow test, do you familiar with that?
The marshmallow question is a metaphor for delaying gratification; in Social Security terms, delaying filing from 62 to 67 or 70 yields higher lifetime benefits, though individual circumstances may justify early filing.
Rising Yields Are The Greatest Threat Markets Face Today | Stephanie Pomboy
Q: For a good while. It's hard to interrupt, but let me ask you this.
There are multiple pressures converging: higher for longer rates, rising oil prices, and a surge in corporate credit issuance that crowds out government borrowing, creating a more fragile macro backdrop even as profits look strong on the surface.
This Will End In A Deflationary Depression | Michael Pento
Q: What stage is the portfolio currently in according to Pento's five-stage model?
Pento describes being in sector three, a deflation/disinflation/stasis area, with a heavy emphasis on equal-weight S&P 500, inflationary hedges, disinflationary components, and hedges to navigate the current environment.
