  • Doom and Gloim

Too many oil “experts” predicting empty tanks and chaos…while refusing to admit they’ve been wrong…for months.

  • Waste of Time

The gold coverage is OK but the podcast is increasingly platforming wingnuts with radical political views and overt racist and antisemitic views. Not worth the time.

  • Great. When it isn’t showcasing foreign state misinformation

Usually great, but occasionally allows guests to spout misinformation and malinformation (Simon Hunt for example, who doesn’t even understand the rivalry between Sunni and Shia gulf states).

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Marc Faber: Imminent Financial Collapse, Money Printing & Gold
Q: Marc, earlier you mentioned that you think we'll see a significant crash in asset prices—AI, semiconductors included—but even something like gold could go downwards. Why do you see that possibility and under what conditions might gold not hold up?
While monetary expansion has supported many markets, a debt-deflation scenario or a sudden loss of confidence could cause a broad collateral collapse; gold is a store of value but not immune to timing and policy shocks, so diversification and prudent risk management are essential.
Willem Middelkoop: The Next Financial Crisis, ‘Perfect Storm’ For Commodities & Mining Discoveries
Q: Willem, how close are we truly to a financial reset today?
The guest argues the reset is unfolding now, with the US losing unipolar status, global debt pressures mounting, and central banks preparing for a gold-friendly policy posture as part of a longer-term transition rather than a sudden collapse.
Michael Oliver: ‘Nuclear Event’ Hitting US Markets & Silver ‘Most Explosive’ Upside
Q: How do you view the dollar's trajectory in relation to gold and the miners?
A potential dollar decline could amplify gold and miner gains, creating a complementary tailwind that supports a broad metals rally.
Michael Oliver: ‘Nuclear Event’ Hitting US Markets & Silver ‘Most Explosive’ Upside
Q: What is currently on your radar and where are you spending the most time right now?
I'm focused on the impending bond crisis, the relative value shift between gold and miners, and how the spread charts suggest a major upshift in mining equities as gold strengthens.
Henrik Zeberg: Why The Stock Market Will ‘Blow-off Top’ Next Quarter | Recession Worse Than 2008
Q: So what would really be the fundamental driver behind this top?
Zeberg suggests the top is driven by a combination of waning macro momentum, a late-cycle peak in earnings, collapsing consumer finances, and the inflation/debt dynamics that come with prolonged stimulus and rate hikes, all aligning to produce a major market downturn rather than a mild correction.
