  • It’s Called FICA

Why don’t you push back on the lie about entitlements? (Fossi kept insisting and pushing this misinformation). Social Security, etc., are funded by payroll taxes on pay as we go. Lift the upper income cap level so that higher income earners continue to contribute.

Otherwise, enjoy the conversations. Interesting topics explored

The Hundred Year Pivot Ep. 11 – Brian Winter
Q: Why is there a shift to the right happening in Latin America?
The rise of organized crime and the collapse of Venezuela are key drivers behind this shift, leading people to seek right-wing political solutions for safety and stability.
The Hundred Year Pivot Ep. 11 – Brian Winter
Q: What happened in Venezuela?
President Trump made a daring decision to remove Nicolás Maduro from power, marking it as a significant event for Latin America. However, while the operation was successful, the broader regime still remains.
The Hundred Year Pivot Ep. 10 – Peter Atwater
Q: What does it look like politically for a large portion of the electorate to suddenly shift from the passenger seat to the launch pad?
The shift occurs when people realize they are being played and, if they see a crowd willing to jump with them, they are more likely to make that leap toward empowerment and take control back.
The Hundred Year Pivot Ep. 10 – Peter Atwater
Q: What do you think the risk is that people feel that way because my devil's argument would be that when people are as committed in the way that you're describing to following someone or some idea, they are less likely to abandon it?
People tend to move into the passenger seat voluntarily from the stress center. They will follow because they think it will get better for them, but eventually grow impatient and realize they are not being brought to the comfort zone.
The Grant Williams Podcast Ep. 106 - Michael Oliver
Q: What signals from your momentum structure work are most concerning to you right now?
The emotional impact of the stock market is a primary concern, as changes there could influence perceptions and behaviors among the average investor.
