  • One Veteran to another—AMAZING

Montel, thank you so much for informing and educating our community about cannabis and it’s many benefits. As a Veteran myself I’m honored to call you a brother in arms not only from a military standpoint but from an advocacy standpoint for cannabis. Someday, maybe you and I can lead the charge together to force the VA to allow recommendations from VA physicians to our Veterans and require that cannabis medicine be grown and produced by Veterans and not BIG PHARMA. All my best, and maybe we coul... more

  • Educator and Advocate

The guests and information on Montel's show are pioneers and educators in the cannabis space. There is emerging research on how cannabis is indeed medicine but it is muddled by laws and red tape. Montel and the guests he has are on a mission to cut through the buracracy and misinformation out there. I continue to learn more and more about this plant medicine daily. Excellent structured discussions.

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Cannabis Has A Consistency Problem - Here’s The Fix | Daniel Cook
Q: What are the regulatory and industry challenges to achieving consistent experiences across states?
The guests discuss the need for two separate regulatory treatments for hemp and cannabis, the complexity of multi-state production, and the importance of building trust through consistent sensory experiences while navigating evolving laws.
Cannabis Has A Consistency Problem - Here’s The Fix | Daniel Cook
Q: Why is Headstash positioned as a restoration of the original plant expression rather than a new flavor additive?
Headstash is intended to recover the authentic aroma and flavor that breeders and cultivators intended, by restoring delicate compounds lost during harvesting, extraction, and processing, so products reflect the plant's true profile.
Cannabis Has A Consistency Problem - Here’s The Fix | Daniel Cook
Q: What drew you to the world of aroma and sensory experience in the first place?
Daniel describes a transition from literature to wine in Chile, then using what he learned about aroma to approach cannabis, recognizing that terpenes and aroma define the true cannabis experience much more than raw numbers. He emphasizes building a framework to quantify and reproduce aroma across products.
Cannabis Legalization Failed These Patients | Ted Smith on the Fight for Medical Access
Q: What would you like the government to do next?
Pause further enforcement actions and civil forfeitures, allow time for judicial review, and acknowledge constitutional rights to access medicine while evaluating Health Canada regulations against the Charter of Rights and Freedoms.
Cannabis Legalization Failed These Patients | Ted Smith on the Fight for Medical Access
Q: What are the major challenges today for patients under the current framework?
The medical program is restricted to mail-order with no DIN for cannabis, doctors cannot prescribe it, and patients lack accessible medical advice; recreational stores cannot provide medical guidance, creating a gap in safe, effective usage for serious conditions.
