Just want to get this out of the way. For those of you who complain about him cussing, leave him alone about it. That’s who Corey is when it comes to being an effective steward. The man knows what he’s talking about. If anything, the cussing reiterates his passion for the subject matter. I enjoy the cussing because that’s how you know he’s genuine. Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

a chit chat with the Wolf James Henry and the director of City Delivery Chris Jackson
Q: What's the aim of the fundraising and reform slate discussions?
The aim is to raise funds to support a reform slate that better represents letter carriers, promote living wages, and ensure transparent governance, while engaging members across branches through events like comedy fundraisers and outreach campaigns.
a chit chat with the Wolf James Henry and the director of City Delivery Chris Jackson
Q: How is accountability maintained when it comes to reimbursements and travel expenses?
Receipts must be itemized; reimbursements cover meals, lodging, and approved travel, with caps like a 20 percent tip rule and per diem guidelines. If receipts are unclear or disputed, the committee members can refuse sign-off and annotate their concerns in Atrium to compel further review.
a chit chat with the Wolf James Henry and the director of City Delivery Chris Jackson
Q: What exactly does the fiscal committee do, and how do they interact with salaries and bonuses?
The fiscal committee reviews expense forms, ensures receipts are itemized, and verifies amounts during weekly or scheduled meetings. They do not approve salaries or bonuses; those are handled by the president and executive council, with HR processes and payroll ultimately implementing any payments.
Episode 299: Rob Kosier talking Director of Safety and Health.
Q: What can we look for from Rob Kosier as the new Director of Safety and Health?
Rob is expected to bring a relentless, safety-first mindset, with a national, proactive agenda focusing on heat safety, scanner message reform, and a strong Dogs of War program that directly addresses upper management and district leaders to protect frontline carriers.
The CCA Corner Volume 18: The JSOVB
Q: What should you do if you're dealing with an abusive manager?
Stay calm, document the behavior, and file grievances on behalf of affected coworkers.
