Fantastic variety of guests with truly engaging conversations. Love getting scientific and spiritual knowledge to round out my recovery experience. Excellent resources provided for every guest so you can do a deep dive.
This podcast is an excellent resource for information on the current state of addiction information. Personally relapsing with alcohol after 18 years, and with an AA aversion for the last 8 years, I wanted to know how the science of addiction had changed. This podcast has been very helpful, and I am grateful for the information provided.
Highly recommend

This is a top-notch podcast. Dr Carl bookends each episode with an overview of his guest and their work; and some concluding remarks recapping and highlighting important points afterwards. Dr Carl has a clear calm speaking voice, asks concise questions, and allows his guests to do most of the talking. Dr Carl is knowledgeable, humble and thoughtful, and his guests are all impactful leaders in their fields. Highly recommended.
