  • It’s been 2 years —update please

Can we at least get a five minute acknowledgement update about the fireplace episode? Even if it’s to say that the guy ghosted you and lost contact OR if it’s to tell us you’ll be doing a follow up episode? In 2023 it sounded like he would have test results back fairly soon—but then no word about it from you guys. If you don’t have any answers from him that’s fine but please just let us know where it went from there or tell us there’s an episode coming or something please.

  • Time to put it to bed

Pod started out very interesting - storyline and info was intriguing and entertaining. It has now devolved into just having conspiracy theorists on spitting stupidity with aboslutely zero logic or research behind it.

Q: Can you fill our listeners in on who you are and your role in the Gardner heist investigation?
Geoffrey Kelly outlines his 29-year tenure with the FBI, as one of the original Art Crime Team members, and his long involvement with the Gardner case from 2002 until retirement, highlighting his goal to provide an authoritative account and dispel myths.

Q: How was the car identified as the stolen one?
Provenance played a crucial role, as there were very few of these cars and the original owner's documents indicated it was stolen.

Q: Can we talk about what this car looks like?
The car is nicknamed Teardrop, inspired by fluid dynamics and aerodynamics with no right angles in its design.
