  • Chicken soup for the IO’s soul

As an IO psych guy (and a people analytics leader at my company), I have to say that I love this podcast. It’s interesting. It’s entertaining. Most importantly, it gives me perspective about how people analytics is being practiced in other organizations. Just what I need to make me think outside the box for my own company.

  • Entertaining and Informative

I found the first episode to be both funny and informative… a mixture of crazy data study experiences from their past, useful comments about mathematical techniques and real-world vs. academic differences. I appreciate that the hosts are willing to be wrong and discuss/debate topics anyway. Looking forward to listening to additional episodes and laughing along with the hosts about what really happens in the data world.

Q: Do you think if a CEO or a CHRO were listening right now, they would say, you know what, I wish my People Analytics team were more like an R&D function?
There's a case to be made that they would think it'd be nice, but if broken down into practical terms, it's something any company should push their People Analytics team to do.
