  • Not science

A lot of these shows are really disappointing. Not a lot of science and a lot more jumping to conclusions, presumably based on the podcasters’ opinions and biases. For example, the recent one on fertility rates decreasing. They framed the fact that birth rates are decreasing as a real problem, even though globally our population is still on the rise. Then went on to talk about ways we can convince people to have more babies. That’s not science. And they only glossed over environmental concerns a... more

  • Getting worse

This show has become borderline intolerable. For a while, I thought I was listening to interesting fact-based science, but now it sounds more like subtly snarky gossip girls gaslighting listeners with their own cherry-picked biases. They literally referred to one opposing mainstream opinion and its supporters as “really, really stupid”. That’s not science.
