I am in the process of interviewing and choosing a school to do my PhD and have had a lot of traveling! As a future ologist, this podcast has inspired me in learning so many new things, with plenty of laughs along the way.
When the other podcasts in my feed are just too grim, Allie’s there to lift me up. I love that I can laugh and learn something awesome. I now always have something to chat about notwithstanding my late stage COVID social awkwardness. And I love that we can make it a family affair with Smologies. I’ve never written a podcast review before but I can’t think of a better one with whom to start (and probably end) my reviewing career.
One thing I love about my fave podcasts is that you not only get the content, you get the host. I love Alie! She’s funny, asks great questions, and doesn’t need to show anyone she’s smart (she obviously is), which allows her to ask the smarty-pants experts basic questions to set the stage for…mushrooms! capybaras! crossword puzzles!
