  • Paige and Armando used cult manipulation tactics to trick me into listening to 35 minutes of nothing

Tried to listen to the first Hare Krishna episode. It really had promise. They talked about literally nothing for 20 minutes and then kept nearly getting going but then would get distracted and go off on some joke that honestly wasn’t funny for a solid 5 minutes. Sorry guys at 35 min I had to pull out.

  • Its fine I guess

I really love cults as a topic, but for some reason I just can’t get behind these 2. Every-time I listen some of the jokes or conversations give meme conversations reddit style. Maybe I started listening too late that Im missing inner jokes. Also the information feels very bullet point. Lately Every time my playlist pops up an episode I just skip it .

  • Unlistenable

Sounds like two 13 year olds goofing around, fascinated by hearing their own voices, and thinking they’re really funny.

The hosts interject their lives and commentary throughout each episode which can sometimes be fun but more often it’s longwinded and distracting that the discussion around cults gets lost - where were we after the 5min discussion about your own s*x lives? When they do finally focus on a topic they are very informed and clearly do t... more
