I LOVE THIS PODCAST, and I NEED you to do Santa Jaws.
I used to really enjoy this podcast, and I’m seeing a lot of people echo what I came here to say. Mikey filled a void the show no longer has — there just isn’t as much fun or spark in the pod anymore. The episodes have gotten shorter and don’t feel as engaging as they once did. When Jen and Mikey were around, it had better structure, more variety, and that balance of humor and insight that made it special.
It would be great to see more guests — whether other horror fans or podcasters — to bring ... more
The conversations are extremely meandering and (for me) the majority of the humor is the kind of juvenile unfunny stuff that most people grew out of in the 7th grade. Episodes have LENGTHY sections of Todd doing very unfunny jokes and Paige explaining social justice concepts that I learned from 2012 Tumblr. Man, I used to listen to this podcast all the time, especially when Mikey was on. But something definitely changed after he left. Paige is great, but the longer it went on without Mikey, you start noticing how the discussions become Todd just talking over Paige constantly and is WAY too into his own opinions. It’s just got to be off putting. I miss the good ole days.
But you guys rarely do scary movies, mostly just comedy-horror. There are so many good horror films yet to do.
