I was enjoying picking through episodes of this podcast, for movies I know and love, and thought it was pretty good. Until I decided to listen to the episode on Wrong Turn, in which THE ENTIRE EPISODE both hosts continually butcher and mispronounce the last name of one beautiful and talented Canadian actress Emmanuelle Chriqui. I’m sorry, isnt it part of your job when wiring the script for these shows to maybe, I don’t know, look up the pronunciation of an actor/director/etc name? It’s pronounce... more
Either I’m going nuts or everyone is shouting more than ever on this podcast. I can’t put it on anymore because I feel like I’m being assaulted by over excited drunk people shouting constantly. Guys chill a little. When you talk calmly you sound great but when you think shouting louder makes sentences either funnier or more interesting I’m out. Turn it down a few notches and I’ll come back.
Todd in particular is the epitome of someone who mistakes being loud, brash and irritating for being enthusiastic and charming. He talks fast, but unfortunately there isn’t a grain of wit in what he says, and his delivery is utterly obnoxious and grating. A shame - they discuss interesting films, but sadly I can’t bear to listen to it.
If you live outside the United States don’t bother.
Smart, funny and lighthearted but still totally horror. Great content and production value.
