  • Limited review of facts

If you watched Apodaca's interrogation where all the texts from that night are read, he waffles the whole time and spends just as much if not more time concocting scenarios for her to back out of it than encouraging her. Then watch Kiara being interrogated; she admits she doesn't even believe the "Ghost" organization is real and she's obviously been gaslighting him about believing he's a thug because she laughs when she says oh yeah, he claims he used to be in a gang with Roswell in the name. • Nothing Special

I had to reread the description for this podcast after I started listening to my first episode.

I thought for sure this was meant to be a true crime pod for children... I'm not joking. The host reads her script as if she's in a classroom, reading a story to a group of 6 year olds. 🤦‍♀️

Good luck to her, but I'm out.

  • A true voice for victims and the marginalized

CJ does an amazing job of showing you both crimes against and crimes committed by the LGBTQ community. She does famous cases and lesser known ones, cases in the US and international cases. She is respectful to the victims and takes the extra steps to get her facts right...and she never, ever...celebrates the perpetrator. What a great true crime listen.
