Cannot believe this podcaster is a journalist- unless you include tabloid journalists. Bamber has relentlessly appealed and courted every kind of publicity possible over the years. The podcaster transparently excuses everything he did and said and at the same time casts doubt on the evidence used against him. Could not bear to listen beyond the 2nd episode because it was so clearly not neutral. Clearly made for money pure and simple. Bamber is viewed as a monster because he murdered his whole f... more
Who in their right mind would support the NY times after the article claiming “women have ruined the workplace”. No one should support this misogynist institution.
There are legitimate questions around Jeremy Bamber’s conviction. But the bias in the narrative, from the get go with the “In The Dark” series, makes it a very difficult listen at times and smacks of poor agenda driven journalism. If this podcast was a ship it wouldn’t even make it out of the harbour, it’s so unbalanced.
I’m a latecomer, but the two seasons of this podcast that I’ve listened to so far have made me realize the profound potential of podcast programs. These people are doing the kind of investigative journalism that literally changes lives for people who have been so utterly failed by our broken criminal justice systems. I am beyond moved by their tireless work and exhaustive attention to all the details in these cases. May we all have this kind of compassion for others.
My phone is not that recent so I am unable to subscribe otherwise I would do so without hesitation. The work that is being done here is so beautiful and incredible. I am enthralled by your tenacity and persistence with each story I am able to listen to without subscription. Please believe me if I could subscribe if I could. Well done to your talent and dedication to the truth and truly beautiful storytelling.
