Really well done podcast of a terribly sad story. Sorry to pile on but my god the theme music is off putting.
I liked it but certainly wanted more. It was more about telling the backstory and giving you the vibe of the situation — the setting, the house, a super high level of who the Benders were. But really very light on theories, if at all. There had to be more of a story simply from the forensic evidence, but it was not told in this podcast. More of a light tough on the topic.
The story could have been interesting, but it was terribly over produced and under investigated. No actual interviews with any charters who are central to the story.
Too many ads ruined a good show
I enjoyed listening to Helen in heaven however, there were times when I felt it drugged on a little too much. And one of the episodes they said John and Ann gave up their citizenship.. When Ann left the country, they talked about her not having a current passport and getting one to leave, but if she’d given up her American citizenship, I felt like that was not addressed and left me hanging, on how she returned to the US.
