  • Interesting

Interesting story though I wonder why they didn’t go into other possible murderers, considering the money and the trust

  • Pretty stupid

I did not finish this podcast, I stopped after episode 4. It’s an interesting and tragic story, but the podcast itself is pretty stupid and topical. I expect that an actually in depth look at these people would be interesting, but this podcast is not that. We are told that John rescued dozens of stray cats when he lived in the US, but not what happened to them when he moved to Costa Rica. As of the end of episode 4, we haven’t been told what happened to all the rescued and protected animals in C... more

When all is said and done, the story is pretty boring, and the layers and layers of details don’t make it any better. Second, I stopped caring about John and Ann pretty quickly. They’re rich, white Americans, who claim to care about rainforest conservation and then tear down the rainforest to build a monstrosity of a house and alienate all ... more
