The episodes are getting SHORTER and the ads are getting LONGER! (45 mins to 30mins with more than half time of ads!).
Also, there seems to be lack of actual work done to search the cases and seemingly only relying on published material i.e. true crime episodes. If the time and passion isn’t going to be consistent it’s best to just call it. It does a disservice to the women and girls, honestly.
The stories are great, but the amount and length of the ads take away from it. I’ve been listening to this podcast for a little over a year, but the ads make it hard to follow the story.
The host is nice to listen to and content is reasonably well researched. However, there are a ridiculous number of adverts which are really long. 10 minutes of ads in the middle of an episode is utterly ridiculous and feels in bad taste. I was shocked when going through one episode and checking. This is in addition to ads at the start and end of the podcast which can be up to 5 mins total. Please reconsider your approach. It has turned a podcast that has potential into one that is frustrating to... more
I’ve been listening to this podcast for a while now and truly love how it highlights the most vulnerable. However, lately the ads have become unbearable. Its hard to keep up with the story when most of the episode is ads. Not sure why the main stories are filled with ads and the afterthought episodes are not…
You are a great story and I’ve been listening for years however the ads now have taken up more than half of the show. This pod is already short , with the lengthy ads it kinda takes away from the story telling . I understand the revenue aspect but could you move the ads to the after show episodes which tend to be much longer .
