    Re organize this

As a new boat owner and fisherman in So CA Drew knows it all. He has an open perspective to what you like and fish for in our beautiful ocean. He jumped on my boat and helped the learn to throw to foamer tuna. He realized by his questions I would rather have rod in hand vs trolling. He loves our fishery here in So Cal and his podcast education has helped me for multiple species inshore, wsb, tuna and yellowtail

Dig this show. Stumbled across it … and as a SoCal angler, it’s RIGHT where it needs to be. The host, obviously, is super knowledgeable and has a voice that sounds like velvet butter.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Captain Karly Barker QCL Fishing Guide @karly.skbarker
Q: How long is the fishing season at QCL and what does a typical day look like?
The season runs from mid-May to Labor Day, totaling about 110 days, with dock-to-dock days that can stretch around 11 hours or more, depending on guest needs and tides.
Zach Zorn @Zornyachtsales
Q: Welcome to the show, how did you get into the boat brokerage world?
It started somewhat by accident after college and a few marketing gigs; I ended up taking a job with a local broker, learned the ropes, and eventually started Zorn Yacht Sales to expand that support and network.
Chris Broders and Jack Denny @Darkseas
Q: What advice would you give to someone starting their own apparel company?
Don't be afraid to fail and be ready for a long haul, as the industry can be tough.
Captain Dave Hansen Yoursaltwaterguide.com
Q: What fishing method is most effective for calico bass?
Dave explains that fishing with live bait, like mackerel, is more effective for attracting calico bass compared to using plastic lures, particularly near their habitats.
Captain Andrew With Outcast Sportfishing @Outcast.sportfishing
Q: What do you mainly do with Outcast?
We run charters during the bluefin season and participate in boat shows during the offseason.
