It is safe to say that I have wandered a bit. I served in the military, flew some jets, jumped out of most, climbed mountains (I jumped off of them too), taught fitness, owned a gym, and have spent the last few years speaking to organizations and leaders. It has been a journey, and in all honesty, I have no idea where it is going. I seek the things that make me uncomfortable. I move towards things... more

  • Overcooked and dry.

Not gonna hear anything original here. Boring miltainmemt. It’s a common recipe these days. Military service, a few base jumps, shake and pour over current events. Comes out lookin and tastin like the diarrhea they serve all over town. This space is shrinking and you idiots are all balls deep in each others hack ideology.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Ten Years in the SAS - What They Don't Teach You | Jay Morton | Ep. 455
Q: What was the turning point that led you to leave active service and pursue new adventures?
The decision was driven by a combination of physical wear, evolving career goals, and a sense that the body could no longer sustain the pace; there was also a push toward leveraging leadership and expedition skills in civilian ventures like brand ambassadorships and guiding expeditions.
The Devil You Know | Full Auto Friday | 6.26.2026
Q: For dating after a long relationship, what should people consider to avoid falling into the same patterns, and how can one discern a healthy partner?
Be willing to do inner work, set boundaries, and give yourself time; avoid rushing back into the dating pool without resolving core issues, and prioritize alignment of values and personal growth over immediate chemistry.
Comparison Is the Thief of Joy | Full Auto Friday | 6.12.2026
Q: My little sister has always been on the frail side and struggles with her weight, and now is dealing with a severe eating disorder; what steps should I take as an older brother to help without overstepping?
Urgently seek professional help specialized in eating disorders, maintain supportive and loving communication, involve parents, and push for treatment with mental health professionals; emphasize care over judgment and coordinate family involvement to stabilize and recondition thinking patterns.
Comparison Is the Thief of Joy | Full Auto Friday | 6.12.2026
Q: Question number two, this one going back to conversations as well, but different. Andy, I began listening last year and have since gone back to hear the Q&A episodes from the start. I am drawn to your willingness to look at situations objectively and logically, as well as you being a great representation for the name Andy.
The host emphasizes practicing open, unemotional conversations, understanding both sides of the relationship, and taking tangible steps like scheduling calls, owning one's faults, and gradually rebuilding trust through measured, thoughtful communication.
Are Police Academies Failing Cops? | Dennis Benigno | Ep. 450
Q: What are the core competencies and why should training shift toward a passenger-side approach and other modern methods?
There is a push to replace outdated, aggressive, and overly centralized styles with training that emphasizes constitutional law, de-escalation, and safer roadside interactions, including practical algorithms like keeping hands visible, verbal communication, and using updated tech-driven tools, with an emphasis on real-world applicability rather than performative 'advanced' training.
