  • My years in China

My 4.5 years in China (2016-21) was enlightening. The people (PRC) is the best I’ve been treated. However, the CCP? A dangerous entity and these gentlemen are exactly right on much. But, the people are deeply patriotic whether they agree with their government or not. I envy their patriotism. With a couple of my colleagues there are married to PLA staff officers and although they never directly revealed much, they indirectly did so. Intentionally so or not, I don’t know. It’s a safe country becau... more

  • Peter Zeihan is a bad guest

He sounds intelligent, but as soon as you know about the topic he’s discussing, you realize he makes wild conclusions. For example, his understanding of NATO “Supreme Commander” is just incorrect.

Former CIA and FBI Agent Reveals The Rise of Fame-Driven Domestic Terrorists In America (w/ Tracy Walder)
Q: What advice do you have for the average American seeking accurate information?
Consume a multitude of different political sources to better understand the issues at hand without falling into echo chambers.
Former CIA and FBI Agent Reveals The Rise of Fame-Driven Domestic Terrorists In America (w/ Tracy Walder)
Q: What are your thoughts on the threat environment? Do you think it's coming from inside or outside?
I think it's both. However, the next attack will likely come from inside due to the dynamics of radicalization today.
Why Officials Are Extremely Concerned About the CCP’s Next Move and the China Threat
Q: At this point, do you feel that that's a lever behind them pushing this action now? Or is this just the natural step in the progression that had planned for a long time?
It's hard to say. China definitely has domestic problems. As you mentioned, a demographic decline, a lot of unemployment with young people.
Why Officials Are Extremely Concerned About the CCP’s Next Move and the China Threat
Q: But knowing what you know about China, knowing what you know about the Chinese Communist Party and their aims, what's your initial reaction to Trump saying that he would allow 600,000 Chinese students into American colleges?
I disagree with it strongly. What we're seeing on the part of the current Trump administration is a concerted effort by the policy makers within the administration to dial back the much harder line policies that were imposed on China during the first Trump administration.
The Government Is Hiding the Truth About UFOs: U.S. Congressman's Fight for Disclosure
Q: What do you think would be the reasonable explanation as to why a TSSCI brief like that would be blocked?
Usually, turf protection plays a role, where committee chairs feel their jurisdiction is being challenged by others.
