I sincerely apologize. I was wrong to say I thought I would prefer an actual human being for the long reads episodes. Go back to text to voice, please. It gave a better delivery, and had I known you weren’t gonna hire a professional voice actor, I wouldn’t have said I wanted a real person. Thanks.
Think the title makes it pretty clear.
Update: They finally listened to the outcry against AI slop narration and have real people reading the weekend long form. Bumping back to 5 stars!
Love Paddy O and how he’s grown over the years into the perfect host for the show. I can’t understand why you’re using AI for the weekend reads. The machine voices are so off putting and the mistakes they are grating. Please get a real person in there to read!
I love the podcasts and the interviews with Paddy O. I was excited to get the narrated stories, but super disappointed by the AI voices. So distracting and unnatural. Hire a voice actor and support real people telling real stories
