  • Inspiring

I’ve listened to this show almost since the beginning and I’m never disappointed. The recent ‘secret’ Sasquatch episode is one of my favorites. It’s a departure from the interview style the show usually follows, but it was really good. Looking forward to another episode like this one!

For so long, I have missed the adventure in my life with a family as a single mom and working full-time. This podcast is helping to ignite my adventure gene and to realize that life and any challenge I encounter is also an adventure to be had.

I like that it is not focused on one discipline. It’s motivational too. His other podcast Florida Uncut is a great listen for people interested in Florida.

Ep. 1157: Cliff Jumping and Endurance Sports with Justin Wadsworth
Q: What motivates you to jump off a 100-foot cliff?
Jumping off the cliff was in honor of my friend who passed away doing the same thing, helping me overcome fear.
Ep 1155: An Amazing Life of Whitewater Kayaking with Brad Burden
Q: What has kayaking done for you and why are you getting back into it now?
Kayaking has brought me adventure and connection with nature, and now with more personal freedom, I am eager to reconnect with it for the joy it brings.
Ep 1156: Crossing Death Valley On Foot - Ashly Winchester Revisited
Q: Is there one in particular you could share a story about a failure specifically where you learned something through it?
The biggest one that actually comes to mind is called the Death Valley Crossing, and I kind of made a big deal about this one on my social media.
Ep 1156: Crossing Death Valley On Foot - Ashly Winchester Revisited
Q: How did it start to grow from there? Did it just become this list that you wanted to complete, or were there any sort of classic routes that drew you in?
I started making a list of FKTs that were like the dream FKT, you know, the bucket list FKTs.
Ep 1156: Crossing Death Valley On Foot - Ashly Winchester Revisited
Q: What does it feel like to be the woman with the most FKTs?
It's weird, honestly, because that wasn't really a goal of mine until just this last year.
