Newer listener and love the show. Appreciate the variety of topics - you ladies are awesome!
Two pieces of criticism.
1. Share the details! Not a fan when y’all do the research, then tell us it’s hard to talk about and we should look it up on our own.
2. Crystal, you’re smart, and you have amazing perspectives to share. But sometimes you gotta let Kay talk and get her comment out.
All the laughing and joking is a little inappropriate. I tried listening to the Cherish Perrywinkle episode and it started off with u guys wanting to tell a joke?
I was looking for something conversational with a true crime-ish flavor and this pod gave me exactly what I came for.

They give a full scope into the background of the case, physiological aspects when available, and explanations behind legal processes when the information is available. Their personalities mesh super well and I can’t get enough of it! I love this podcast and recommend it to people all the time beca... more
This is my favorite true crime podcast. Kat and Crystal are funny and have great chemistry. I appreciate when they add a little tasteful humor to some of the dark and gruesome. I’ve got my husband hooked too. We have binge listened to the whole library and now eagerly await each new episode.
10/10 would recommend.

Two hosts explore a wide range of dark and unusual topics, anchored in thorough case research and thoughtful storytelling. Episodes balance detailed true-crime narratives with cultural context, psychological angles, and occasional lighter banter, often highlighting victims and legal processes while inviting listeners to consider broader societal implications. Across recent selections, the show routinely digs into high-profile cases, lesser-known conspiracies, and fringe beliefs, making complex subjects accessible without sacrificing depth. A standout trait is the co-host duo's chemistry, which pairs rigorous analysis with relatable, conversational energy that keeps listeners engaged even when the material is heavy or disturbing.
