New listener but really enjoying it!!
I’ve learned so many new interesting things
I love the show. I look forward to it each week. My only complaint is the timing of the ads. I don’t mind the ads per se, but some pop up mid sentence which is frustrating when I’m listening intently.
I have been listening to podcasts for quite sometime & have never written a review.
Most podcasts contain some bias just by how the tone of voice can persuade. This podcast does not. It is very objective, which as an attorney myself, find incredible and actually difficult to achieve. Well done!
Also…I’m sure you have noticed Courtney’s calming voice. When listening to this podcast while driving in my car I thought wow! Maybe I wouldn’t be so angry with the gps directions if I had Courtney’s ... more
I love this podcast. One of the best things about this podcast is they don’t use the GD word every other word they say, which I truly appreciate. Voice is a HUGE selling point for me, and they both have a perfect podcast voice, with caring and respect. Since I just came across MIA, I am binge listening to heart’s content. I have already recommend to coworkers and they love it too. Keep up the good work, MIA!! 2 👍 and 5⭐️!!!!
I listen to a lot of true crime and have for many years, this is one of the few podcasts I regularly have to turn off. The cold way some of these stories are delivered is just impossible to listen to. Maybe I’ve finally reached a genre of true crime that’s too inhumane to listen to. I don’t know. The lack of emotion while talking about dead kids is just too much. Thanks for the research?

A deeply researched true crime series that concentrates on high-profile cases across U.S. states, often exploring domestic violence, trauma, and the criminal justice system. Episodes tend to run long to provide thorough context, with emphasis on victims, detailed timelines, and audio evidence to paint a vivid, respectful narrative. A standout is the hosts' balanced, non-sensational approach and willingness to tackle complex subjects with clear storytelling, contributing to a strong, loyal listener base that values depth and empathy over quick takes.
