Four years earlier, reporter Thomas Hargrove had created an algorithm to detect serial killers and flagged Gary, Indiana as the site of an unusual number of strangulations. But when Hargrove reached out to warn local police, he was ignored -- until Afrikka Hardy was murdered, and those co... more

  • Good start

Content of the podcast is fine, and there’s an eagerness to go in depth with different aspects. The serial killer was caught, and gave much of his confession directly. There was not much to “break” this case

In current day 2025, the utilization of AI, in conjunction with developed algorithms, could pose for an interesting follow-up to the first season.

As this is the Narrator’s first project, the delivery is monotone and cadence is repetitive through the whole season. Can be distracting for li... more

  • A Story Worth Telling With Bad Narration

The content of the show and the respect to the family is to be commended. However, the narrator delivers the most boring, cringe sounding reading I’ve ever heard. It makes Payne Lindsey sound Keith Morrison. The show should be redone with someone else hosting or the host needs to take acting lessons to be able to do more compelling narration.

  • Great start

I’m invested. Looking forward to listening to more. I worked in law enforcement in NYC for 10 years and there are so many parts to finding someone, monitoring someone, etc. aside from all the red tape. So any additional tools for law enforcement, I feel it’s helpful.

  • Great project!

I stumbled across this while looking through the Tenderfoot shows and since I was running out of options to listen to I decided to try it- it’s so good. I’m surprised that it hasn’t already shown up as a recommendation. Very well researched and the host is thoughtful and empathetic towards the victims and loved ones. Definitely worth listening to. I’d love another season.
