Mr. Honig’s constant self aggrandizing gets in the way of what could stand on its own as an interesting story. His repetitive self promotion in the “I just crack myself up” vein of how much we will love “this and my other podcast” is off-putting. I really like that they were able to get the people on who were there- real mob bosses and associates, fbi agents and even judges. It’s pretty rare to get to hear from them, especially so many years later. The stories they tell are real and raw. I often find myself imagining what it was like back then in those moments while I’m listening. Makes it so much more relatable for something that happened a long time ago
Elie share his knowledge freely and with great detail. Fascinating glimpse into the other side, unless that’s your side as well.
