Join us, Michelle, Lucy and David, for a mildly diverting delve into the great, the good, the mad, the brave, the outrageous, the mischievous and the truly preposterous folk of the Tudor Age. Three enthusiastic Tudorphiles discuss each in turn and give them marks out of ten for intrigue, martyrdom, posterity and rise & fall before deciding whether they are Tudorlicious.

Long time listener, basically since the beginning. I couldn’t bring myself to review before this year cuz I felt I couldn’t give a good review and I refuse to give independent podcasts bad reviews.
BUT, this year, Michelle has been replaced with David! And he is a breath of fresh air!!!
Entertaining Tudor history that doesn’t take itself too seriously!
My recommendation: start with 2026 episodes.
Don’t try to listen to the old catalog back to back, or you will be driven insane by Michelle a... more

One of my favorite podcasts ever. The hosts are knowledgeable, witty, and a joy to listen to.
I love this podcast, so much info. It’s just the belly laughs that are quite annoying. Really, the laughing is distracting Sorry
