  • Intriguing narrative but the cackling ruins it

    I’m excited by many of the titles of episodes presenting obscure snd lesser known biographies. No Ann Boleyn—what a treat! Unfortunately, the earlier episodes are intolerable to me due to the cackling and wide-eyed questions from the female “sidekick.” I would suggest editing out the laughter but there is also a lot of talking over each other so it would be difficult.   • 2026 is their best year (by far!)

    Long time listener, basically since the beginning. I couldn’t bring myself to review before this year cuz I felt I couldn’t give a good review and I refuse to give independent podcasts bad reviews.

    BUT, this year, Michelle has been replaced with David! And he is a breath of fresh air!!!

    Entertaining Tudor history that doesn’t take itself too seriously!

    My recommendation: start with 2026 episodes.
