I’ve listened to podcasts since they first came out. Anytime there is more than 1 speaker (eg a show host & a show guest) it’s always risky due to banter & interpersonal dynamics. Heather is the main speaker with an occasional guest. Always Heather is on topic & always the history is presented in a context that is relatable. I ordered the 2026 planner & can’t wait to see it. The only reason I’m going back
I am extremely picky about accuracy and interesting content and this podcast nails both. I like that you can tell this is a passion project and appreciate the amount of preparation the host clearly puts into each episode. I also valued the host (briefly) sharing her experience with pregnancy loss early in the show. It showed considerable bravery and vulnerability and helps bring awareness to a difficult, often ignored experience that impacts many, many people each year. Bravo!
Navigating, showcasing and underscoring the intricate treacherous complexities of a term paper read aloud over and over in a high school classroom. Where’d the storytelling go?
I like the subject, but sometimes it just sounds like a professor who is bored with their own lecture. Dry reading of a script, complete with this-is-where-my-joke-goes jokes, like it’s a lecture she’s read 500 times.
