It’s clear that he takes his studies seriously and I hope others pick up on that too. I am definitely getting the book. Truth be told, my personal library is expanding with every episode. I absolutely love history. I wanted to love this podcast, but I cannot stand listening to the narrators voice. It sounds whiny and babyish. I’ve tried three or four times to listen, but I just can’t.
Been a listener for a few years now and this podcast continues to get better over time. The quality of the guests is superb and the discussion topics are fascinating with something for everyone and all interest levels. It has introduced me to a number of historians, books, and travel ideas (wolf hall weekend!).
Sorry but the host put me to sleep. I almost didn’t understand him when he was talking about Wolf Hall sounded like “woof har” more
