Really enjoyed this episode. Now I’ve listened to a few more I’m in love with the whole show. Very well researched and presented 😍
Adam Pennington is equal parts expert and enthusiast when it comes to a time period in which so many of us are enthusiasts. Every time I find I have learned all I can about a particular niche topic within this subject, this podcast uncovers nuances that always leave me with a worthwhile takeaway. I am so glad I became a paid subscriber because the episodes are so very worth it! It’s become one of the must listens that I look forward to each week. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The Tudor Chest is a great addition to the growing number of Tudor podcasts. Information is presented in a scholarly manner, and the host stays on topic. Most episodes to date have been narrative, but his recent interview with Gareth Streeter shows that he is excellent in dialogue hosting as well.
Listened to every episode in just 2 days, I absolutely love this podcast. I wasn’t sure Tudor content could be fresh and new but this absolutely is just that. Can’t wait for more!
As an enthusiastic American Anglophile, I have enjoyed this post immensely. Mr. Pennington chooses topics about which I have always had questions. The most recent episode comparing Anne Boleyn in the media was very entertaining! more
