American obsessed with UK history. Stumbled across this and has me deep diving more into research. Adam is such a great host who clearly prepares for his guest and always keeps the conversation flowing. Thank you creating this wonderful show!
I’ve listened to many episodes multiple times because there is so much to discover. Name a person or topic of the time, it’s here. Adam does an especially good job of giving his guests the room to shine and share their research, leaving no question unasked. Kudos to him for creating so many diverse, well-thought-out and produced, thought provoking episodes - each such a little treat.
Not only do I love the emphasis on the importance of women during the Tudor reign, but I so appreciate the critiquing of films and books to make sure we stay on point and not become solely reliant on fantasy for historical references for the sake of entertainment. Bravo!
