Fabulous show. Love the guests. Love the topics
Love this podcast, really enjoyed the Siren episode, another modern interpretation of sirens that differentiates them from mermaids is that Sinbad animated movie, it depicts sirens as women actually made of water, there’s a clip on youtube. It also had a cool depiction of Eris in it.
Well, it is! If you’re serious about your casual interest history, this podcast is unmissable. Engaging, insightful and a deep dive into some genuinely fascinating topics and eras. Love it!
Good enough content to subscribe (when they aren’t doing weird promotions for video games and Snow isn’t preening his historical plumage.) But what is truly frustrating to is to PAY for something, as I do this podcast, and STILL nonetheless have to fast forward through ads and idiotic sponsored content. That’s gonna be a one star from me, dawg. Figure out your feed.
Hosting quacks who denying Mayan & Aztec human sacrifice. An episode on cats from a man who sounds like he’s on benzos attacking JD Vance. Ahistorical and woke, what absolute garbage.
