  • Pensacola for the Win!

Gary, as a Pensacola native I was excited to see you honor Galvez and his impact on the American Revolution. DC may have one statue but we have two and we celebrate him every May!

Now you should do an episode on Don Tristan de Luna and the first Florida settlement at Pensacola predating St Augustine and Jamestown.

6 Stars! Just finished and what a ride. Great info on practically everything. Gets a few minor points wrong but 99% accurate is better than most. Only real issue is the pronunciation of Sacagawea. The G is a soft g not whatever you were doing with it. I grew up in the town she left from. Trust me, I’m an anthropologist! Anyway, keep up the great show and Go Packers!

  • (Fantastic podcast!) ***Gary, you are having editing issues!***

Hey Gary, I've been a longtime fan and club member since '21. Should have given you five stars way before now, but my motivation at the moment is to tell you that you're recently having regular editing issues. It was especially prevalent during a stretch of a dozen days or so, maybe a month or two ago. That aside, Gary, you're a model student and teacher! Thank you! I'm a little envious of your extensive travels, but happy you had the opportunity and chose to go do it over and over. No doubt all... more

  • Strong Bad Approved

I discovered this podcast less than a year ago and just joined the Pennsylvania Chapter of the Completionist Club today! I can’t wait to share my grandma’s shoo-fly pie with everyone. I love the little cultural references Gary tosses into his scripts, especially when they include the best movie ever, the Princess Bride. I was also pleasantly shocked when at his obscure reference to my college internet addiction, Homestar Runner and his buddy Strong Bad. My favorite hoodie in my personal collecti... more
