I’ve been an avid listener since almost day one. Was really sad once they stopped making them, but super happy when they picked it back up! I’m constantly learning something new each week! I appreciate all the hard work and dedication goes into this pod. Only downfall, the constant ads between segments. Other than that, 10/10!
The Borgata ad voice makes me shriek.. the content of promoting gambling along with his voice are horrific.
Good podcast if you want to be entertained for half an hour about an event in history you likely know little about. It’s not hard hitting history, but that doesn’t appear to be the intent. I don’t think it tries to cater towards any specific group, but there’s definitely some unconscious bias in a particular direction, so if you’re looking for a truly down the middle podcast I suspect there are better options, but who knows nowadays. All in all, I enjoy most episodes and it’s worthy of a listen ... more
