  • Mostly ads

Way too many ads for a short show. And, no, I’m not going to pay for it ad-free, as it offers no more information than a basic, average Wikipedia article.

  • Too many ads

Was looking forward to a little daily dose of history and yes it’s there between long ad breaks. 15 minute episodes with 9.5 minutes of commercials. Sadly they lost me.

  • Great despite the ads.

I love this podcast. One of the most professional history podcasts I know of. I’ve noticed an increase in ads, but I skip them and it’s not that much of a bother. Also shout out to History Dispatches! Matt and his son McKinley are as genuine as they come.
