  • I've only just begun subscribing to Noiser's short snappy, History Daily podcasts. I have done so because Noiser's longer-format output is a class above the rest, avoiding school-book nonsense and tired old bunk in favour of accurate, balanced, contemporary analysis. The jury is out, and I'll give HD a few weeks, but the signs are not good. Today's Pilgrim Father's episode is a case in point. • Great content if you can stand the endless ads

The actual pod is great but I cringe every 4 minutes when the ads come in, over and over. I get the need to advertise but the balance is all wrong, makes me think twice when choosing what to listen to as I need to be in the right headspace to listen to the indeed advert or the ad for a book about a guy who fell in love with an AI. Seriously ads, if I haven’t bought what you are selling by now it’s not going to happen!!!!!

  • Historical date lines up with today

I like how History Daily lines up an historical event date with the current date. Not too long podcast, interesting and easy to listen to.

  • Love the show not the commercials

I love the show but it’s starting to feel like the commercials are longer than the actual show. I know you have to make money for content but it’s a lot.
