The American Civil War episodes are hilariously bad. It’s Wikipedia history, so you’re getting a 3rd grade interpretation of history each episode.
Very disappointed in the segment on Riley. Actually should be looking into the actual account of William Stephenson. Riley simply played up what he actually did. Expected better from this podcast
After listening to almost all of the podcasts, I have had a change of heart. I originally had a favorable view, but now I see: Indigenous people always good - even those involved in human sacrifice; white men bad; Christian white men AND woman evil. Typical of revisionist history.

Loved Noiser, particularly Dictators (although they haven’t had a new episode in ages) but the recent Short History Of … episode on the Spanish Civil War was extremely biased, lacking any critical analysis of the atrocities of the republican forces or the policies of the very un-democratic republican government that led to the civil war.
