  • Simon Mattocks is the only solid, consistent narrator. The voice of the opening credits presenter especially gives me the vomits, can’t ff through it quickly enough. Unfortunately, the best topics seem to be reserved for the worst readers.

  • Long time listener…

I love all the Slumber Studios podcasts. The different focuses and topics mean there’s always something I want to listen to. There is no AI involved. The writer and narrator are always identified in the show notes, and in the *Get Sleepy* podcast, Thomas (the host) always credits the writer and narrator. For years now, Thomas and the rest of the Slumber Studios crew have helped me fall asleep. Thanks!

  • Horrible unsuitable ads

I enjoy the podcast ads for rollercoasters and action films, really? Shouting, music and hyperactive excitement to interrupt a podcast to fall asleep to. Please dictate any ads yourselves in the same voice as the show like some other podcasts do.

  • Any and all episodes

While I’ve mostly liked the content, the background soundtrack is a huge distraction! It’s such an annoyance that I can’t listen to the podcast anymore.

  • SO GREAT!!!

It’s not ai. First of all, the podcast lists the people who are narrating. Secondly, it only sounds kind of like ai because they are talking in intentionally sleep inducing voices. I’m surrounded by idiots and paranoid fools screaming about a robot uprising when the real problem is the people using ai. Why are people saying “get rid of ai” instead of “get rid of Elon musk”? Ai could be a wonderful tool for humanity. Ai is powerful. And like all powerful things, it can be used for great good and ... more
