I’ve been listening to this podcast for the past few years to help me get to sleep or fall asleep if I wake up in the middle of the night. His voice is so soothing and the stories are fascinating! He puts so much work into this - I totally understand why this was moved to paid content. Highly recommend making the upgrade!
I never thought a podcast could lull me to sleep like these do. Harris has a very calm voice that induces sleep but his humor and wit in your sleep journey make these podcasts special. Everyone I’ve introduced to these podcasts loves them.
I’ve struggled with sleep my whole life and only wish this podcast had been around decades ago. The host’s soothing voice and calm delivery work wonders for me. It’s never dull—episodes are often genuinely interesting—yet they always ease me into sleep. The gentle, slightly dorky humor is an unexpected bonus.
After looking for podcasts that I could fall asleep to, I finally found one that works every time! It’s almost a shame because I love hearing Harris’ voice and the funny comments he makes along the way. I’m now a loyal Silk+ member and I tell everyone I know about Calm History and also Sleep Whispers (also Harris, but speaking in a whisper). Fantastic podcasts!!! I very highly recommend!!!
I have a tough time getting to sleep and have found that listening to the softly told stories on Calm History relaxes me and slides me into a restful slumber. As a bonus I learn interesting facts as I drift off.
