    I got it in June of 1958. When I went back to school in September. I had to bring bottles with me so that the doctor could test it every month that was humiliating to say the least! Hated it! I was skinny like olive oil, and I have a lot of positive things to say about it I am the oldest person that I know that has this disease. For 64 years I’ve been a type 1 diabetic! I have a lot more to say as I have not died as my friends have. I was 10 years old as my doctor told my parents I had a chance ... more

  • In general great discussions, but...

    The incorrect technical info about pumps and insulin at time ca overwhelm the hood info. The pushing of myths about pumps causing increase in or decrease in the pomp dosing is bad! The infk about traveling was great, but promoting another myth helps no one. Please check facts on how insulin, Diabetes physiology, D tech before recording, the bad info can be dangerious. more
