I really value and love the show. Especially navigating their industry whilst staying sober. My only very minor ick is that every sentence stars with “MATE” and it just reminds me of the Stewart Lee sketch on Russell Howard.
I actually love your podcast guys. Although yet again I’m failing sobriety…. Your stories, chats with guest and genuine love for each other really shines through. Also Jamie…… absolutely love the Time Machine sound effect 🫡
These guys are funny, cool, unfiltered, down-to-earth, non-judgy, and I just love listening to their British accents/slang. They also have such amazing guests, and they interview them so well! I often get bored with podcasts that have tons of interviews, but not with this one—I’ve been binging it nonstop and all of my other favorite pods have gone on the back burner.

I have been slowing working my way through the back catalogue because these lads and their podcast have made a massive difference to my 'journey'. Non judgemental, encouraging and inspiring Jamie and Tom are relatable (even to a middle aged white woman 😂) and honest. They have a great selection of guests and show interest and empathy in their interviews. Mr Gibbs adds depth to the discussions and I'm always left with something to think about for my own mindset and personal growth. They're a bre... more
As they say they are honest about how being sober is both up and down, and the way they phrase things becomes even more valuable and motivating the longer you are sober. Thank you!

Two British hosts share honest, often humorous conversations about cutting alcohol from life, pairing personal sobriety journeys with interviews from musicians, artists, and public figures. Episodes mix practical strategies for staying sober (apps, Dry January, support networks) with provocative discussions about culture, marketing, and social norms around drinking. A recurring clinical perspective from a counsellor/psychotherapist adds evidence-based context, making it useful for listeners seeking actionable change and a sense of community in sobriety. Noteworthy traits include a steady stream of high-profile guests, a strong emphasis on accountability, and a candid, non-judgmental tone that appeals to the sober-curious and committed alike... more
