I usually love LT but more recently have noticed a change in his interview style. Too much about him, and too many jokes - he’s not giving the guests the space they deserve to tell their own story. Becoming a bit self-indulgent.
The Michael Cera episode was like hanging out with two friends, had me giggling the whole way through. Also loved the Jamie Oliver episode, Louis has a lovely relaxed charm and brings out a warmth in each episode. Only note would be to change the theme music to something more soothing :)
This is a beautiful woman inside and out, a great artist and basic Louis seemed determined to generate headlines for himself by trying to provoke her and by dredging up her worst memories. I feel physically sick recalling what he asked her and it made her sad which is devastating given what she has been going through. Pathetic and I will never listen again.
This has to be the longest introduction to a podcast I’ve ever heard. For goodness sake, get on with it. Unfortunately, I didn’t take it past the first 10 minutes as I got fed up with listening to. The introduction and lovefest that seems to be going on.
Really enjoy the podcast and all of Louis’ work. Some of the episodes are a bit long and tedious. A few he keeps interrupting and stopping the flow of a good story. But please do stop that really bad NZ accent you do which you think is Aussie.
