  • Must listen for any runner or OCR athlete

This podcast is often repetitive, Diaz has his pet subjects and gets back to them often. Of late, many episodes have felt like infomercials for his method/clinics/services. Yet he sometimes has interesting guests on and isn’t afraid to go outside the standard fare. Some of the training info is also interesting and not heard elsewhere often.

  • Gruntled Old Man

Well, I wanted to write this review with an open mind. I like most of the science behind the running but it’s hard to get through with Richard who apparently has a chip on his shoulder. Highly ranting is what he calls it but seems to me and others that it’s complaining and jealousy. He’s not on the level as the Yancy Camp business wise. Sorry nobody goes and cancels your running clinics lol. People are not interested in an over weight old man spewing out garage(negativity) and a mix of For pseud... more

  • The Best OCR Podcast

This OCR/Running Podcast was not the first OCR podcast I have listened too but in my opinion it is the best. If you stick up the other big podcasts in OCR, they really don’t compare. I started with ORM media, then tried Obstacle Order and Obstacle Dominator, also giving Spartan Up and a few others a try. I have to be completely honest, the other’s are not even close. Richard combines consistency (monthly and often weekly podcasts are churned out), with subjects that help the audience learn/grow,... more

  • Revolutionized my running - just by listening!

I’ve been listening to Richard Diaz rant about midfoot running at 180 SPM for almost two years now. His ranting has single handedly saved me as a runner!! I was beating myself up with heel striking and over-striding and running toward a definite catastrophic breakdown. By listening to his podcast episodes I have adopted his teachings, changed my running 100% for the better and have taught it to anyone that will listen to me! I’m a changed runner, and I only have Rich to thank. Of course I love h... more
