  • Favourite podcast by far

This has to be my most listened to podcast. I love how Finn engages with each person and how enthusiastic he is with the sport. He really knows how to interview people to get the best answers- doesn’t over speak or talk about himself too much (like some do), and you can tell he genuinely enjoys what he does!! Plus he has a pleasant voice to listen too

(which is super important). 100% recommend!

Sabrina Stanley on Ovarian Cancer and the Long Way Back to Elite Ultrarunning
Q: Can you talk about like when that happens, are there both pros and cons to that happening for you athletically?
I don't know what the pros are. There might be some out there.
Sabrina Stanley on Ovarian Cancer and the Long Way Back to Elite Ultrarunning
Q: Does it feel like you're on the other side of this?
No. I mean, I feel like we're just geared up that, like, every time we get good news, we know it's followed by bad news.
Sabrina Stanley on Ovarian Cancer and the Long Way Back to Elite Ultrarunning
Q: Do you ever suspect that it was actually in there for, for example, like a longer period of time?
My oncologist surgeon said that it's probably been there for 10 years or more.
Sabrina Stanley on Ovarian Cancer and the Long Way Back to Elite Ultrarunning
Q: Were there ever any moments where you were in doubt about your professional career in this sport?
Still am, I hear that. I also know that in no world before the last year, when I've been okay with the place I took. I should be entering the prime of my career.
Molly Seidel Isn’t Chasing the Same Things Anymore
Q: What do you think is unsustainable about the current state of marathoning?
The pressure to never stop training and always compete, which is an unsustainable approach that leads to burnout and injuries.
