  • Mostly Solid

The podcast is usually a solid listen, but unfortunately you have to listen to Corrine’s woke opinions. It gets old and annoying to her social agenda when you are trying to appreciate high level athletes performing their craft.

  • D-BOWWWW

Confused how Dylan Bowman didn’t win ultra runner of the year last year?? We will see if he can take it at Hardrock!! In all seriousness, he does a great job with interview, previews, and keeping tabs on business side / hype of the sport. Every podcast he does is interesting. My only gripe is that he sometimes tries to keep the interview on the tracks or wrap it up and can sometimes come across like he is cutting the person off. It’s not bad or anything, I just sometimes feel like he forces the ... more

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Ludovic Pommeret | Hardrock 100 Post-Race Interview 2026
Q: What about the night segments—how have you prepared to maintain strength after dark?
Night running has become a core strength; with good headlamps and planned pacing, the nighttime miles become sustainable, allowing me to extend my lead when others struggle more in the dark.
Ludovic Pommeret | Hardrock 100 Post-Race Interview 2026
Q: What role did the soft rock training play in your success, and how does backpacking with your wife contribute to performance?
The soft rock laps provide practical acclimatization plus a mental and logistical connection to the course. Backpacking gives you water knowledge, crew interaction, and a shared experience that strengthens the overall readiness for race day.
Ludovic Pommeret | Hardrock 100 Post-Race Interview 2026
Q: Could you share a little more about your downhill-focused strategy and how it impacted your margins?
I wanted to create pressure especially downhill because altitude makes uphill pushing heavy on the breath; downhill can be pushed with less oxygen, allowing faster splits and keeping the race under control while still respecting the terrain.
Hardrock 100 DNF | Dylan's Race Recap
Q: How did the crew support you, and what was the turning point at Bear Creek?
The crew tried to troubleshoot with cooling strategies and hydration, but nothing kept down, and the decision to reset and pace differently came after realizing the urgent need to protect health and safety over finishing the race.
Hardrock 100 DNF | Dylan's Race Recap
Q: What happened at Jemez and later on that affected your day?
I experienced a drastic crash in the last 5K at Jemez with severe nausea and vomiting, leading to a long time in the med tent and ultimately a change in plans; later, I had heat-related issues at Bear Creek that contributed to the decision to DNF.
