It’s helpful as someone who has Misophonia to hear others journeys. I also love to hear about how others find resilience and improve their conditions for improving their lives. Such a helpful podcast for anyone struggling with Misophonia.
I’ve had Misophonia since I was eleven or twelve and it has greatly affected my life. My dad has it as well but my mom and sister don’t, and they often tease me because of my emotional bursts. I’ve emailed my dad during school saying I was crying or so frustrated I wanted to hurt somebody. My dad has been always been there for me. A couple days ago I stumbled across your podcast and it has been a joy listening to other’s experiences with Misophonia, especially when it isn’t so common. I’ve been ... more
I wish I could listen to more episodes but the host is triggering me with his P & C/K sounds
So happy for this podcast. I have Misophonia-chewing, utensils, low frequency bass, repetitive sounds. Hearing the interviews is soothing. Shared struggle and coping mechanisms are therapeutic. It can be debilitating and takes up time and energy to avoid sounds. I’m motivated to get accommodations for my next employment. So grateful for this community.
Why are there all these random sounds. I was so happy to find a podcast on a subject like this and then halfway through the episode it sounds like white noise in the background. Is this on purpose? It's maddening.
